Liz Brodie says: “The big adventure finally concluded in early June with a lovely homecoming with family and friends. The cause had an additional boost from Alastair Moffat’s kind offer to hold a bucket collection at Kate Humbles talk on Thursday evening. Many thanks to Alastair who also arranged for Caitlin and I to meet Charlie and Craig Reid from the Proclaimers just before their concert in Melrose. We have now easily exceeded our £5000 target with huge thanks to all who have contributed. Just giving will continue to take donations until July for anyone who would still like to donate”
