I am currently working towards a Masters in Finance. My research area is retirement planning and my aim is to find out the factors that affect the decisions to take financial advice in the Scottish Borders.

The questionnaire will take approximately 5 minutes to complete. All responses are completely anonymous and no personally identifiable information will be requested. In addition, responses from all participants are combined for the final report and will be removed when the research has concluded, which further protects anonymity.

A copy of the final report can be made available on request. The questionnaire and study will follow the University of Gloucestershire Handbook for Research Ethics.
