Fri 7th Dec – Live Borders presents The Tin Soldier at St Boswells Village Hall 3.30-5pm

Adapted from the Hans Christian Anderson fairy tale.

Filled with puppetry, live music and multimedia.

On his birthday, a young boy is given a collection of toy soldiers all cast from an old tin spoon. One soldier stands on a single leg, as he was the last one to be cast and there was not enough metal. The tin soldier spies a ballerina in the playroom and falls in love, as he believes she also only has one leg. A mean and jealous Goblin sees this and throws the soldier out of the window. The soldier then has an incredible journey to try and find his way back to the ballerina. Filled with puppetry, live music and multimedia, Folksy’s The Tin Soldier is a great show for all the family.
