Let’s Get the Borders Involved in a National Campaign

As part of the UK Government’s ‘Enjoy Summer Safely’ campaign, there will be a ‘Shop Local’ themed week commencing Monday 10 August.

This UK-wide week of activity aims to build consumers’ confidence of shopping locally and demonstrate how shops are adhering to the Safer Working guidance.

SBCC is looking for video clips from businesses – about 1-2 minutes in length – to promote ‘Shop Local’ week. This will be shared on UK Government social media channels. It will be subtitled and captioned.

We are asking organisations to submit a piece to camera, covering the following points:

• What do you love about your local high street?

• What have you missed about your customers?

• What would you say to your customers considering shopping local?

• What steps have you taken to make customers feel safe?
