Matt Owens Music AKA Urby Whale is a British Singer-Songwriter and musician, who came to prominence as one of the founding members of Indie-Folk band Noah And The Whale and for fronting Rock’n’Roll band Little Mammoths.

Matt is touring with his debut solo album ‘Whiskey and Orchids’ which he has been working on with Thea Gilmore, Michael Blair, Robert Vincent (Tom Waits Drummer) and Carleigh Aitkens (Bahamas).

Matt will be joined by Nigel Stonier. Nigel Stonier is a producer, multi-instrumentalist and singer/songwriter/co-writer and since the 90s he has worked with a range of artists including Thea Gilmore, The Waterboys, Joan Baez, Martha Wainwright, Fairport Convention.

Between 2009 and 2013 he has produced a total – for various artistes – of twelve tracks playlisted on BBC Radio 2 and BBC Radio 6 Music , eight of these tracks having been on the A list.

Since scoring a publishing contract when aged 17 Nigel has been an active and busy musician, initially attracting national radio attention with the band Northern Sky then setting his stall out as a producer/collaborator.
