A day’s painting with local artist and tutor Claire Beattie exploring the beautiful Scottish Borders landscape. Using oil pastels and charcoal, students will make quick studies in response to the landscape images provided and then, using these images, work on a painting using aqueous oils. Claire’s approach is suitable for beginners and those with previous experience. There is lots of one to one guidance and support within a small group environment. All materials are provided, just bring yourself and a pack lunch.
