Taking in all domestic animals including, but not limited to, dogs, cats, rabbits, guineas, chinchillas, rats, hamsters, birds, gerbils, tortoise, snakes, bearded dragons and other reptiles.  All dogs, cats and rabbits are neutered and vaccinated and additional all Dogs and cats are microhipped.  Our full rehoming procedure can be seen on our website at www.b-a-r-k.co.uk under the information section – Things to Consider.

The kennels and reception centre is run by a Manger supported by regular staff and volunteers.  It is maintained to a high standard to ensure the temporary residents enjoy a comfortable, warm and welcoming home.

The charity shop at Marygate, Berwick is run by a dedicated team of staff and volunteers.  The donations from supporters keep it well stocked and ensure the income generated helps fund the care of our temporary residents.
