We are a small but warm and friendly blues club, nestled in the hills of the beautiful Scottish Borders. The Vale Club Innerleithen, home of the Borders Blues Club, brings some of the best blues talent to play from around the UK and USA. Our aim is to bring all styles of Blues music to a wider audience at the first dedicated club of this kind in the Borders.

After all, as Keith Richards famously said, “If you don’t know the blues… there’s no point in picking up the guitar and playing rock and roll or any other form of popular music.”

We are a, “not for profit enterprise,” with all of our door money going directly to the artists and at just £5 a head for two fabulous acts, it’s great value for money.

The club, run by musicians with a love of live music, may be small but it’s our reputation of punching above our weight that’s growing fast. We have great acts playing fantastic music, an intimate atmosphere, a warm welcome for both artists and fans and a dance floor for you to shake your thing! Oh ….and did I mention a late bar?

We’d love to have you over to visit us for a great night of Rockin’ Blues. Our shows held predominantly on the 1st Friday of the month with an occasional extra show on a later Friday in the month when the act is just too good to miss. Check our Facebook page for details.
