Established in early 2018, in Coldstream in the Scottish Borders, Borders Wines is the Borders first online wine merchant, shipping across the UK. Looking to build a collection of wines familiar and new, we love the classic wines of Europe and great New World terroirs, but with a growing selection from lesser known regions of Europe and beyond such as Greece, Hungary and Uruguay.

We’re a family firm, passionate about wine – we sell fine and everyday wines for every pocketbook. We’re always expanding our range, and love feedback on new areas or producers to explore.

Director Ken Miller has spent 20 years in the Drinks Industry, working for some of the biggest players in Wines and Spirits. He’s taken the opportunity to get back to what he really loves, wines and spirits from small artisanal producers and the excellent co-op movement. A Philhellene, fond of long summer holidays in Gascony, and years of travel to Hungary have created an eclectic range of tastes and interests, which we hope are reflected in our wines.

Ken is WSET level 3 qualified in Wines and Spirits.

We work with our partners to find small, artisan producers and we support the excellent cooperatives that help small producers make big wines. Our wines consistently win ringing endorsements from wine critics in tastings and competitions.
