Music in Peebles promotes an annual series of chamber music concerts, between September and April, in the Eastgate Theatre & Arts Centre, Peebles. Every season, we aim to present a mix of nationally (and internationally) renowned musicians, and young musicians at the start of their careers. We also aim to programme a wide variety of musical styles and formats, from Early Music to contemporary and from solo performers to ensembles of various sizes.

Another important aspect of our work is the outreach programme, through which we organise music education workshops in local schools and special performances in our local care home. This enables young people to experience top-quality live music, perhaps for the first time in their lives, and older people, who may be unable to attend public concerts, to enjoy music brought to them.
