Are you an enthusiastic and independent person looking to boost your skills and make a difference through volunteering? Are you passionate about raising valuable funds for the RSPB’s work to save Scotland’s wildlife and habitats? If this sounds like you, get in touch and become part of the volunteering team and service our pin badge boxes, in your local area, in your own time.
This is a great opportunity to engage with businesses in your local community through the placement of pin badge boxes and foster good relations with others whilst helping Europe’s largest conservation charity carry out its vital work.
Where: Scottish Borders
When: year-round, ongoing
Commitment: As little as one or two hours per month depending on the number of boxes. Includes monitoring of boxes approximately once a month.

What skills do I require?
β€’ Confidence and independence to approach local businesses that you enjoy or would like to engage more with
β€’ Knowledge of businesses and tourist attractions that are open beyond your working hours, or can schedule a time to visit
β€’ Some customer service experience
β€’ Some cash handling experience
β€’ Computer literacy
Please note:Β β€’ This role differs slightly from our usual pin badge volunteer roles in that the boxes have already been placed, you will not be expected to place any new pin badge boxes in Galashiels, Jedburgh or Kelso.
