TINY TEMPLE sprang from a desire to work  and play in harmony with nature.

Tiny Temple is one of the few cabin builders in the UK able to offer a sustainable, complete in-house service with the lowest possible carbon footprint.

Profits from Tiny Temple go towards the Harmony of the Way foundation to purchase 300 acres of land dedicated to reforestation, creativity and carbon negative off-grid living.

Beren pledges to plant ten times the trees required for every Tiny Temple built.

Tiny Temple’s sawmill will be relocated to the community to create a circular economy and provide work for residents. Programmes will be offered to those who are homeless, giving them the skills and space to build their own homes.

Tiny Temple will soon specialise in creating and distributing a Architectural grade cladding and decking.

Our timber products will be available for delivery anywhere in the UK and EU.

Why Tiny Temple?

We live and breathe Tiny cabins and eco-friendly low-impact living. A portion of Tiny Temple’s profits are donated to the Harmony of the Way Foundation to create an eco community based around meditation, carbon-negative living, and reforestation. Your project will be led by Beren and his team, from design to handover.

What does a Tiny Temple cost?

As each project is unique, we cannot offer set pricing without a site visit. A ready-to-move-in 4m x 3m cabin starts from £19,000

Will I need planning permission?

Generally speaking, planning permission for your Tiny Temple is not required in Scotland if:

•    The Cabin is being located in your rear garden and you are out with a conservation area.

•    The new cabin is not used as a dwelling or as self-contained living accommodation.

•    The eaves height is no more than 3 metres and the ridge height is no more than 4 metres.

If Planning Permission is required, we can assist and take care of the whole process on your behalf.

I have an uneven site with difficult access, Can I still have a Tiny Temple?

Our concrete pile and steel rod foundation system or ground-screws allows us to build the raised deck well above the ground over any difficult terrain and away from the damp.

Will my Tiny Temple keep me warm over winter?

The floor, walls and roof are very well insulated, and the walls are comprised of seven layers of material along with an airtight envelope.

What type of heating is used?

Infrared panels and/or woodburner. When we have bigger surfaces to cover we work with other systems.

Do Tiny Temples come with a guarantee?

Each cabin comes with a 10 year structural guarantee.

Do you work with sustainable wood?

All the timber we use is FSC certified
