From Saturday 7th June, you’ll find The Heartland Market in its new (and let’s be honest, obvious) home – Market Square, right opposite the Pavilion Cinema.

Why the move? We’re all about creating connections, and Market Square gives us the perfect spot to encourage and entice visitors from Gala Water Retail Park into the heart of town. It’s a space that flows better, feels better, and lets us do more of what we love.

What you can expect...The same brilliant line-up of traders, with a few extra reasons to linger. We’re adding giant old school games, occasional live music and dance, and we’ll be making the most of the additional space and seating to create more of a laid-back leisure vibe – the kind of market experience that makes you want to stay a while.

Plus, we’ve heard your feedback. We’ve truly loved our time on Channel Street – it’s been a fantastic home and a big part of our journey. But after listening to feedback from both traders and visitors, we feel it’s the right moment for a change. Market Square offers a warmer, more sheltered setting and a more enjoyable Saturday experience for everyone.
