8It is our firmly held belief that no one should be outpriced out of their hobby. Knitting, crochet or any fibre craft is fun, creative and communal but it is so much more……the mindful and restorative properties of these crafts is endless.  There is an increasing body of research to support claims that each rhythmic and repetitive movement is said to release serotonin which can aid pain, anxiety and alleviate symptoms of depression (I can certainly attest to that one).  With all of this in mind we try to make the craft and the tools required accessible to all.  We spend time researching a fair price to all, we know that within our area there are huge disparities in disposable income, and we try and cover all basis from our basic ranges through to our bespoke range of hand-dyed yarns but regardless of price point, we aim to provide quality of product and value for money.  We also wanted to create a welcoming space, a space where people can relax and chat but most importantly be themselves, regardless of years knitting, life experience just be you.
